Excellent news! I know these have already been posted, so please forgive the repeat. It looks like several of my

images (possibly more) will be included in the renovated exhibits and displays of the local civil war museum. They

have received funding approval for the complete renovation and upgrade to the Hindman Museum.

After speaking with the Historical Interpreter on Monday, she gave me the contact information for Taylor Studios

(Exhibit Designers & Fabricators). They are handling and implementing the entire project. I contacted the lady in

question and she is very happy that I called. It looks like I'll be supplying the "modern" images for the museum. The

historical images available are not plentiful supply, so this may bode well for me. I suggested she forward me a "wish

list" of things to photograph for the Civil War Reenactment this weekend. She seemed quite excited about this

opportunity and even called over the project director to review the CWR gallery on my website while I was on the

phone.

This is just the initial phase, so I am quite happy at the opportunities this may present down the road. Here are just 3

of the images that are under the initial consideration...

I may tone down the in-camera sepia effect on image #3. We are not sure at this point if they are to be all done in

sepia, some in color, etc. and how many images from either side of the reenactment will be used in the final exhibit. I

am guessing more of the Confederate side...

Taylor Studio is also very interested in additional images. Printing and digital image discussions to follow! They

definitely want me to shoot in RAW (as I've done for quite a while now), since some of the images will be VERY

large... not sure what size that is, but I suspect it's because they are limited with the historical images they can use.

Definitely 400 DPI wherever possible - I just need to interpolate those images above from the PSD files I've created,

since I had minimal card space at the time!

Marc

Thanks Everyone for the comments!
Peter and Justin: thank you both and Peter has it correct, but more than he thought! Approx. 200,000 people visit this museum every year. This is fun, and it's also business... it looks like I'll be getting not only image credits, but contract talks are underway... 8-)
