horseman press 690

i just want to double check something. i have a horseman press 690 with a 105mm lens. i want to buy a new lens.

i see at keh a number of lenses on 2x3 boards. this is the right lens board, right? are there any third party

wider lenses that will work with this camera and still have its movements?

You need Horseman 80mm X 80mm boards. The "2X3" boards mentioned are for Gralflex 2X3 cameras.

 

Midwest Camera may have some Horseman boards.

I have a Horseman 980 which I believe is a later model version of your camera. You should be able to find a number of 80x80 boards on "the auction site" using horseman as a search term.<br>

Lenses from 65mm to maybe about 240mm can be used on flat lens boards with that camera. I think the bellows draw is about 250mm. Horseman branded lenses were offered from 65mm thru 180mm.<br>

Also the later style roll film backs seem to be easier to use and turn up more frequently.<br>
