14mm 2.8l
Why can't you "really use" your 4/3 lenses on G-1 Robert?

Here's a link to an authentic 4/3 to micro 4/3 adapter:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310103271294
robert_meyers
Which is not 100% compatible, and that percentage map is all over the board. Example, all pro or super pro lenses can't actually autofocus.

Now I love the aility to use older, manual focus lenses, but losing the ability to AF with AF lenses is absurd. Especially when their AF is a little... odd (focus by wire).
owen_coors1
I don't have a G1, which looks like THE CAMERA to own if you're a 4/3 manual focus lens user like myself, but I do have an Olympus E420 which I've setup for MF lenses (1.2x mag-eyepiece and cut down G2 j-type lrg prism focusing screen, made for Nikon F5). I use two Nikon mount lenses, via adapters...one being a Mir 24H(N) 35mm f2 Russian/Soviet lens and the other a Soligor 28mm f2 P (Pro series). I have a Canon 50mm f1.4 FD that I'd like to use also and am considering the purchase of one of the "jinfinance" adapters. Does anyone here know of a way to modify this lens so that it would sit deeper into the adapter so that infinity focus can be achieved?
Owen
