thomas_vanhaute
Sometimes the first two images i shoot with my Hasselblad (A12 back) interfere; meaning one image partially covers the next (cant find exact English word, sorry...). Rest of film/images is perfectly even spread. What am i doing wrong?
godfrey
Presuming you're loading it correctly, it sounds like your A12 back needs service. Be sure you are setting the index mark against the paper backing index properly, and that it stops properly on initial wind-on. If so, and the problem persists, have the back checked by Hasselblad service. Godfrey
peter_rosenthal
You are doing nothing wrong! This is most likely a problem with the counter adjustment. You can easily check it. Wind forward, with the magazine inserted and locked, until the counter almost gets to 1. As it nears 1, wind VERY slowly. The white flag should drop the same instant or IMMEDIATELY before it stops winding. My bet is that your white flag drops well (1/8th of a turn or more) in advance of the wind lever stopping. Adjustment of the counter after cleaning and lubrication will take care of your problem. This shouldn't be an expensive or demanding job. Good luck! mike_daly
Thomas, The English word you're looking for is 'overlapping'. Regards, Mike
thomas_vanhaute
a new development in this issue...sadly. I just bought a mint-in-the-box second hand A12 back (manufactured 2000). AND IT GOT WORSE! NOW THE FIRST THREE IMAGES OF MY SESSION ARE MISSING, AND THE SPACING IN BETWEEN THE OTHER IMAGES IS UNEVEN! Am I extremely unlucky, or COULD THE PROBLEM LIE WITHIN THE HASSELBLAD BODY (1988 503CX) ITSELF??? HELP!
leo_cavanha
thomas, the problem shouldn't be in the body. The body doesn't mind if your roll is in position number 1, 2, 3...
