mark_pierlot
Does anyone know whether I can use a Pentacon 6 to M42 adapter in conjunction with an M42 to EOS (and an M42 to FD) adapter? I'd like to be able to use a recently acquired Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180/2.8 lens with a P6 mount on my EOS and FD bodies, and I already have the M42 adapters for those bodies. Otherwise, I'll have to get two more adapters rather than one.
JDMvW
Works fine, may even work better than the more expensive P6>EOS adapters, although the latter gives you a shift lens. (though what one does with a 288mm-equivalent shift lens, I'm not sure). I sometimes use T-mount M42 lenses with an adapter if the M42 is on the lens already. The only possible problem with stacking adapters would be if any one were off gauge - people here have complained about it, but I've only very rarely found it to be a problem
