thomas_graichen
hello, does anyone know what kind of tool is required to adjust the autofocus on a canon eos 300d (digital rebel)? the 1.3mm hex tool, which is used for the canon eos 350d (digital rebel xt) and up does not seem to work on the 300d. somewhere i read, that for this camera a square tool is required, but i did not find any more information about it. thanks a lot in advance for any pointer into the right direction and best wishes thomas
rainer_t
In this thread "HelmutB" describes how he had adjusted his 300D... http://www.dslr-forum.de/archive/index.php/t-64097.html ... he writes that filing down a 1.5mm hex tool to about 1.0mm to 1.1mm did the trick. So eventually the 300D requires a tool slightly smaller than the 350D.
