michael_kuhne
Very nice, indeed, Marc, and what a fine deal you landed! Where is this civil war reinactment? I have attended a few of those. The ones I have seen are quite impressive. Those fine lenses should be great with your MZ-S! I think you'll find the power zoom function will increase steadiness when dealing with keeping up with moving subjects. Takes a little practice, however. andrewg_ny
Can anyone with a MZ-S comment on the viewfinder? How does it compare to other bodies you've been exposed to?
marclangille
@Michael K.: thank you and I'm still quite happy with the price - basically a new unit! At the risk of hijacking the thread with images, I'll post a new one with those details. @Andrew: I own the K1000, SF10, and MZ-S. I'll comment once my MZ-S is back. hal_a
A friend of mine owns an MX and there's a neat little trick that he can do: by half pressing the shutter, the mirror flips up, and then if he depresses the shutter button fully, the camera takes a snap. Apparently, not all models come with this ability (flaw?), but if you have the chance to buy it from a shop, you can try out the shutter and then commit your money. These bodies are usually very cheap too.
stemked
The MZ-S is bright, but not say as bright as an LX with a Beattie screen, It seems close to the ZX/MZ-5n in terms of brightness.
leo_papandreou1
Got an MZ-S. I'm happy. Poor, too.
