ole_tjugen
well - it's a Meyer Görlitz Weitwinkel Aristostigmat 8cm f/6,3... so it's made by Meyer, in the town Görlitz. "Weitwinkel" means "wide angle", and 8cm is 80mm. "Aristostigmat" is Meyer's name for a family of related anastigmatic lenses. The lens is a "doble Gauss", 4 uncemented elements. Coverage is up to about 100 degrees at small stops, which should give an image circle of 190mm - which is enough to cover 4x5" with some movements.
