ianbattersby
Can anyone recommend a Pro Lab for processing both (Ilford) B&W and C41 in the UK? My main requirement is (of course) quality, quick turnaround, and handling. I did check out 'Neighbor Recommendations' on PN but it doesn't seem to indicate country. Thanks :)

hugh_hutcheson
I've been using The Darkroom UK Ltd for some years for colour and BW film processing with very good results and they have a postal service. Another one you could look at is Peak Imaging - I've read some good reports on them too.

david_henderson
If you really do want a Pro Lab, rather than a lab that handles mail order, you might like to consider Bayeux on Newman Street, London W1 www.bayeux.co.uk Metro Imaging www.metroimaging.co.uk Both these businesses were set up to meet the needs of the London professional and agency scene. As such they tend to be more expensive (which isn't the same as worse value) than the typical consumer lab or one-man-band. They probably relate more to business over the counter than to mail order, but have specialists and the ability to use a wide variety of approaches to process and print. ianbattersby
Norman/Hugh: Many thanks for the recommendations!
David: It's actually due to a disappointing experience with Bayeux that I'm looking round for alternatives. I will check out Metro though :)
