ron_ahrens
I have purchased a Eos 30 & BP-300 battery grip, is it Ok to use AA lithium batteries in the grip? Ive heard they may overload the cameras electric circuit. Ron Ahrens
rainer_t
Can't tell for teh EOS 30 ... but the battery grip for my EOS 300 will take 4 AA cells. The nominal voltage of the internal battery is 6V, so 4 AA cells at 1.5V are just fine. If the BP-300 also takes 4 AA cells, and if the EOS 30 also needs 6V, 4 AA cells with a nominal voltage of 1.5V will be ok. What is the voltage of you AA lithium batteries? sanjay_chaudary
Hi, you might want to check the battery grip manual, which I assume you might have already done. Another thing that you might want to do is contact canon support
