album design - Pricing question.

I really want to offer my clients custom designed books, but am finding that the time needed to create the pages

would make the cost prohibitive to folks in my area (northeastern Ohio) esp. in these economic times. I've got

20+ years of graphic design, so am qualified, but it's just not quick. What is a fair price for such a service? I

really don't want to go with templates. Thank you.

Lumapix pro version - saved my life! They do not offer a mac version so I keep a pc just to run this program. Yeah.. it's

that good. Makes it feasible to do custom designs for each client and save designs as templates to tweak later for favorite

spreads etc. Very sophisticated yet short learning curve. Found nothing that compares so far. You can be doing simple in

a few minutes and anything you can do in photoshop in a day or two. Then take your designs into photoshop for any

further desired use of actions etc.

Ricki, I took a peek and I really like the program you gave the link to. Curious where you do print and bind with? I can see a lot of great potential with this. I just got a info pack from zookbinders and I am assuming, you could use this in coordination with them.
