william_carnahan
MF Friends, Still learning to use my RB67, Pro-S. Two rolls of slide film have been returned with slightly overlapping frames. Since the film advancement does not "mechanically" stop at each new frame (does yours?), I carefully move the advancement lever until the next frame number is centered in the window. The films were loaded correctly, tight on the take-up spool, but still off on the frame spacing. Am I missing something, or is this film holder due for repair? Thanks for your help. randall ellis
The film should stop at the proper spot during advance. There is a small pin inside the upper part of the film back that has come loose - it happens - that stops the film at the right spot. You should be able to continue to use the backs without problem if you are careful, or you could send them in for repairs. The cost may, or may not, be prohibitive, but estimates are free.

- Randy
