david_rossiter
Any Pentax 67 users that use the Benbo #2 tripod? Your comments would be appreciated.
steve_bingham
Scarry idea, but I suppose it could be done. Steve
grunzweig photography
Hi, I use the Gitzo 320. I was told that this is the lightest tripod to use with the P67. I am now going to get a heavier head as mine is not stable enough. There is quite a bit of shake at lower shutter speeds < 1/60. <p> keng
tapas_maiti1
Hi, I actually bought a secondhand Benbo2 for use with my Pentax67 - bad idea! The problem is not weight but rigidity, the benbo is just not upto the job. I also have a Gitzo 120 which despite being very light seems o.k.(with a solid head) because it is rigid and if necessary (no mirror lock up and shutter speeds 1/2-1/30) can be wieghed down with a camera bag. brian_c._miller
I use the Benbo Trekker with my 6x7 and 90mmLS lens. It's OK, but I hang a bag with weight (rocks, whatever) to add mass during longer exposers. When the camera stalk is all the way up, the camera can wobble a little bit. Add some mass, and it's quite steady. Either that or don't push the camera stalk all the way up.
roy_l._jacobs
I have Gitzos 225 and 320. The 225 is really designed for 35mm but I have used it extensively with no shake problem with the 67. I use an NPC Pro Head with the quick release. The 320 is a monster but fairly light for its size. It is rock steady and should be fine with all but the longest lenses.
