paulo2
I've just been given a flash unit. A chinese Phoenix ZBIS-92P with ttl dedicated imprinted on it. I've had no luck with a manual, searched butkus.org and diplodocs.com... no luck. After reading a bit about flash units it looks to be a no thrills unit. Anybody know where I can find a manual for it? Or perhaps for a similar 'generic' model. Great forum group... thanks. Paulo
tommyinca
What camera do you plan to use it with? This seems like an old film era TTL flash. If I have to guess, it is for a Pentax film AF camera. If you plan to use it on a digital camera, chances are TTL won't work. Most digital camera manufacture change their flash system from OTL (off-the-film) TTL to some kind pre-flash TTL. Some even change it more then once and each time incompatiable to the old one. Hate to say it but what you have is effectively, a low quality full power only manaul flash. A maual won't help much. chris_werner
Be careful about putting it on your camera before you know more about it. If the voltage is different you could hurt your camera.
russ_butner___portland__or
Paulo I just received the same unit in Nikon version. No need for manual, but if you'd like, I'll copy the instruction manual for you. It's strictly a TTL unit. Np ,anual or other auto settings.
