rich_evans Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 Had the same thing happen when I first started doing weddings - thought I'd be tne 'nice guy' and waited while two others were turned down. The original never followed through, so now its very clear from the first time I meet with or talk to the prospective couple that no dates are held until a deposit is taken. --Rich Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would have contacted the first couple immediately and told them that someone just requested that day and that if they don't come up with the deposit and contract immediately that they are going to lose their reservation.
