jef_janssens
The time spend alone with the couple, away from the stress. And of course the reception/party if they know how to serve a decent wine ;-)
jmichaelc
As a typical viewing guest, my favorite part of the wedding is always the first steps taken just after the announcement of the new Mr. and Mrs. That first step in life together is something special to witness. As a father, seeing the fathers escort and hand-off their daughters is a punch in the gut for me. I have a 9 year old and that thought terrifies me. As a son, seeing the mothers glare at their son from the front row just before the bride is to come down the isle always hits a special place within knowing all to well the special bond that mothers and their sons have. As a husband, knowing all the stresses that the couples have gone through to prepare for this day and knowing that the stress is slowly fading away as the day moves forward excites me for them. As the photographer, my favorite part is the reception for many of the reasons that have already been mentioned. This is where the majority of photographic opportunities take place and is the playing field for us to venture at will to exercise our skills and often experiment with new ideas. a._j._jacobs
Duncan, that's how my wedding was, my hubby was crying, and I was half crying/half laughing...that is a pretty good part.
weddings1
My favorite part of the wedding is shooting the bride and groom together alone after the cermony. It is probably the only time that day they will kinda be alone together and the stress of the cermony is gone and they can enjoy each other. Thats where the best work is. cjogo
When the coverage is our package:: that only includes the exposed rolls of film --we hand them over at the end of the day >>>> work done ,,,,,,,,no post work~!
ilkka_nissila
I like the ceremony best; beautiful churches, strong if controlled emotions, things move slow enough that the photographer has time to prepare each shot. Reception and formals are kind of a drag for me; the first because of the sometimes dark locations and poor quality available light and the latter because I am not a great people entertainer, but I'm getting better. ;-)
josh_a1
My favorite part of a wedding is getting that shot other photographer couldn't have gotten. We all have have that "right place, right time" moments. Also I try to see if I can get one fine art picture out of each wedding so I can remind myself why I started photography to begin with. hannah_epley1
The filet mignon. I can't get enough of it. :-) Besides the lavish meal, I love taking the bride & groom on a private shoot for 1/2 hour and being really creative and capturing the romance. signature_assistant_...
#1 The grooms reaction when he sees his bride for the first time #2 Father and daughter moments waiting for their turn to walk down the aisle Most recently the speeches...my husband and I both focus on getting to know the couple, getting along with them and (hopefully) making them feel like they've known us all along, so speeches and tender moments have definitely choked us both up at pretty much every wedding we've been to!
