christer_almqvist2
Daniel, here are my questions re b+w: what film? which developer? pushed; how much? scans from print or negatives? most used focal length; second? thanks, chris
daniel_weiss1
Hey Chris, Since I've been so busy I have just been bringing everything to the photo lab I use for all my color work (manhattan color labs), I hope to get back in the darkroom soon. I'm not sure what developer they use for their black and white processing. All of the film is Tri-x, rated at 400, processed normal - the scans were done from the negatives by the photo lab. All of it was shot with an M6 ttl with a 35mm summicron ASPH. -Daniel
christer_almqvist2
Daniel, thank you for your reply; it was very interesting. I know nobody who has his b+w films developed by a commercial lab, and afaik they only scan color. I am in Europe and things may be different here. I will see if I can get the same service here. Perhaps it is available, I just did not ask! Also interesting that you only use one lens. (My favourite one.) Thanks again, Chris
