OK - I am sure this is simple as anything but for whatever reason, I can't figure it out...

 

How How to post a photo in a thread using HTML tags?

 

I have been trying the http://thewarmland.com/img/v1/p374957040-2.jpg for example but it doesn't work.

 

And yes, I have changed it below to HTML.

 

What am I doing wrong?!

First type your answer, hit submit, then confirm. The next screen will allow you to attach an image, size the image to 400 across the screen, if the image is too large it will become an attachment, rather than visible on the page. Then upload image, hope this helps.

Thanks, I know about that method but I was hoping to just link/show photos that I have uploaded to my site...

http://thewarmland.com/img/v1/p374957040-2.jpg is not "proper" html.

 

You need to write it EXACTLY as follows for an in-line image (i.e. not attached):

 

<img src="image url">

 

... and select HTML below the text box. Make sure the image is 700 pixels or smaller on the horizontal side, otherwise scrolling (annoying) may result.

 

And of course you will also need to enter html tags for your line breaks <br> and paragraph breaks <P>.
