paul_kent2
Are there any recommendable E6 labs in the Northern part of New Mexico? The Albuquerque and Santa Fe area would be ideal. I found Visions Photo Lab in Santa Fe through the web. Are there others? I am looking for a place that doesn't blink when you drop off 150 sheets and is dependable. Thanks, Paul
richard_f
You might look up Kirk Gittings' website and drop him a note- he's based in/near ABQ I think.
richard baznik
It's been a few years since I've used them, but Carl's Darkroom (http://www.carlsdarkroom.com/) in Albuquerque has done excellent E6 work for me when I've traveled in NM.
paul_kent2
Thanks to both Richards. Kirk Gittings has a quote praising Carl's Darkroom on their site.
sergio_ortega7
In Santa Fe.....Visions Photo Lab. I've been using them for years and always have been pleased with their E6 processing in all formats.
steve_rasmussen
My brother lives in Albuquerque and is a medium format pro. He stopped having his E-6 work done at Carl's due to quality issues. Not sure if that translates to sheet film but I would be carefull.
tom_schaefer
Why not contact Santa Fe workshops and see who they recommend or overnight it to your favorite Lab
steve_rasmussen
Some recent good news regarding Carl's is that they have resolved their quality issues and are back in form.
robert_hohlfelder
Sadly, the latest news is that Carl's Darkroom is closing their doors.
les_de_moss1
Carls' Darkroom was bought by DigiGraphics LLC in Fort Collins, Colorado. Carl's Darkroom website is still up and running: www.carlsdarkroom.com , as well as the local phone number for Carl's 505-888-4505, which forwards toll-free to DigiGraphics.

Pricing for E6 processing has not changed. Processing orders may be placed locally at Desert Photo (next door to Carl's on Quincy) which are shipped free to DigiGraphics. Orders may also be shipped directly to DigiGraphics using order forms available on the website.

DigiGraphics has been in business since 1977. DigiGraphics runs 35mm through 8x10" E6/C41/BW and offers a range of other professional-level services for pro photographers and commercial clientele. DigiGraphics was a highly rated Kodak Q-Lab while that program was supported by Kodak. DigiGraphics owns Refrema processing equipment.

My name is Les De Moss, Founder of DigiGraphics. I can be reached at: les@digi-graphics.com or by calling 505-888-4505 or 800-728-8596. Please don't hesitate to call or write. Carl's Darkroom wanted this transition to be as easy as possible... we'll do all we can to meet that goal.
