richard_ilomaki7
I noticed that the offical panorama photo at the Dem's convention at the stadium last night was taken using what looked like a 4 x 5 Graflex. I couldn't tell if it was a film or digital back but no questions it was a 4 x 5 with the bellows shifted down, and likely a very wide lens. There were likely many of those on Aug 28, 1963 in Washington. Anyone else niotice that? Cheers
ellis_vener_photography
can you provide a link?
james_lai
I don't think it was a Graflex. According to Doug Grosjean in an earlier post (<a href = "http://www.photo.net/classic-cameras-forum/00QfJI">click here</a>) the camera is a Cirkut. ellis_vener_photography
Who is the photographer?
james_lai
Sorry Richard, you were right. Cirkuts were made by the Rochester Panoramic Camera Company, which was taken over by the Century Camera Company. Century was acquired by Eastman Kodak and later merged with Kodak subsidiary Folmer and Schwing, which became Graflex.
