wildwoodgallery Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 I took some photos with my Nikon F3hp and an AI 35-70mm f3.5 and got some terrible vignetting. My Canon fd 35- 70mm f2.8-3.5 performed much better than the Nikon lens. I haven't had any vignetting with the Canon lens. Rick Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I use the proper hood with every lens I own, Canon or Nikon and have never experienced vignetting. Either lens brand might vignette with the wrong hood. I know this may sound like a stupid thing to do…but I actually did it this summer! Twice! I don’t think I ever did that before. Anyway, something to consider.
