For flush mount and magazine style albums, we use Graphistudio (yes, we do...good luck so far), Leather Craftsmen 3500, Zookbinders ZookBook, VisionArt, AsukaBook, Tuscany, Finao and others.

How do you generally present the proofs to the couple for selection and approval for the album?

Joe, thats a good question regarding proofs. You will get several responses on this topic. Craig, my photo partner is pretty creative so usually he puts the album together without much input from the client. We show a few sample books to get an idea of what styles they prefer, but Craig selects the images. Sometimes we may get a client that wants to do everything, such as a graphic artist or someone with a good knowledge of the arts. In that case we let them do their thing.
