Focus screen for ETRSi

I can`t seem to find my original post asking questions on focus

screens, Anyway! I purchased a brightscreen 20/20 with diagonal split

and microprism from KEH and it has transformed my ETRSi. Never in any

camera have I seen such a bright and crisp snap in and out of the

focussed point( that is with the 75 lens.) It just starts to go off

with the 40 F4 but still a vast improvement over the standard mat

screen.

How much did you pay for that screen and what condition was it listed as?

I paid $115, not sure now what condition it was listed at(somewhere around the middle condition I think)there are a few marks but nothing to get angry about.

Thanks, David. I having been looking into getting a brighter screen for my ETRSi. Do you have to adjust your Metered prism as a result of this greater amount of light?

Yes you do have to adjust the + or - or you can do it through the film speed. I find because the prism on the broni is not quite as precise as some I do it by getting my Canon 35mm on spot and hold the two screens in front of the lens and seeing how different the readings are.
