andrew_hull
Going to Iceland in one week. I am taking some digital equipment but also my Fuji GSW, what color film would you bring along? I will have a tripod, so I am planning something in the 50-100 ISO range, but am not settled on slide or print. I will be scanning for digital print. david_henderson
Can I suggest that you take a film that you both know and like. There's nothing special about Iceland in terms of the film required- but you don't want to spoil the trip by using a film you're not familiar with and getting it wrong. wellinghall
Two things you might want to bear in mind, Andrew: - while Iceland isn't quite north of the arctic cirecle, there is still an awful lot of daylight around in August - however, there's often a lot of cloud cover, so you might want to take some slightly faster film along as well. And one specific hint: if you go to geysir and want to catch an eruption, use your film camera rather than you digital; even minimal shutter lag can mean you miss the best bit.
