lola_gunch Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 I want to use a vivitar 283 flash as an off camera flash unit by placing it on a small tripod along with awireless slave flash unit. However I came across some articles stating that some of these old 283 flash units drew a lot of voltage. Wouldthere be a safety issue with doing this, or any issues for that matter?
