pankaj purohit
Hi, I was discovering on net about some new cameras for my relative as his budget and requirements, and I found the Olympus SP-570UZ interesting. I am a SLR guy but I think this camera goes something like SLR and will be suitable for my relative. Most interesting thing of this camera is its macro support (1cm) and zoom lenghts : 26mm to 520mm (with its fixed lens), where some other cameras in the compact digital camera category starts with 35mm. Here are the specification and I would like to know your opinons on this camera if have used it or any experience with it, I am not sure about specifications and features whether these are only the marketing stunts or realy effective. And I am also not sure about the sensor and noise production of this camera, noise won't matter after ISO 800, because maximum routeen ISO will not be more than 800. Check this: Maximum Resolution 3648 x 2736 Image Ratio W:H 4:3, 16:9 Effective Pixels 10.0 million Sensor Type CCD Color Filter Array RGB ISO Rating - Zoom Wide 26 mm Zoom Tele 520 mm (13.7 x) Digital Zoom Yes, up to 5x Auto Focus Yes Manual Focus Yes Macro Focus Range 1 cm White Balance Override 6 positions plus manual Aperture Range F2.8 - F4.5 Minimum Shutter 4 sec Maximum Shutter 1/2000 sec Built-in Flash Yes, pop-up Flash Guide No. 4.5 m (14.7 ft) (ISO 200) External Flash Yes, hot-shoe With thanks and regards.
