ronald_moravec1
A friend needs an "all in one" or perhaps a flatbed scanner compatable with a Mac 10.5 Leopard. Budget is an issue. What are people using with 10.5 ? Did you have to download software or did the furnished software work out of the box.

uncle git
Vuescan will drive most flatbeds on OSX - and it's excellent software. http://www.hamrick.com I even use it on an old SCSI 4x5 Sprintscan 45 Ultra filmscanner using a scsi -> firewire adaptor.
