pteppic
Thought this might interest you guys. Kyle Cassidy, a PJ based in Philly USA has decided to pass on his 85mm f1.8 MF Nikor (don't panic, he's got a AF version for himself). Cosmetically it's a bit battered, but this being Kyle, the optics are still shiny bright. All he wants to see if some of your work, a statement on a planned project with the lens and a promise to actually act on it. Details are here: http://kylecassidy.livejournal.com/444606.html Personally, I shoot Minolta MC/MD glass, but I'll be following the progress of this closely. Enjoy :-)
Peter_in_PA
Too many strings attached. If I really need a MF 85 f1.8 for a project, I'd just stinkin' buy one. imho, he should find some young photographer who's learning and just give it away with no strings attached. joseph_smith3
I agree with Peter. But it is his lens and he can set the rules. Too bad that someone who does not have access to a program which can watermark JPEGs cannot participate. By the way, that excludes all Nikon digital software as far as I know. Joe Smith. Lou_Meluso
Great idea! We need more photographers like this to fire up the young folk. Way-to-go Kyle!
