joe_dempsey
I managed to let my Sigma 10-20 roll out of my pickup door and hit the carportfloor. The glass is OK, but there was apparently some internal damage. Can anyonerecommend a repair facility. Found several by Googling, but know nothing elseabout them.TIA,Joe
Matt Laur
Damn, that's a shame. <br><br> Have you seen <a href="http://www.sigmaphoto.com/sigmaonlinemall/ebay_service.asp"><b>this page</b></a>?
joe_dempsey
Thanks Matt. The lens has served me well and I discovered that it does not bounce, The link you sent is perfect! Thanks! Joe
john_mcrae
<p>Yo, Matt and/or Joe: What's that page? It comes up as "page not found" now.<br> I have the same problem Joe had (hopefully that's past-tense now?), my 18-200mm dropped out of my pickup front door. Or, you could say that I sort of ejected it by yanking over my jacket, not remembering that's where I'd put the lens! :(<br> It's only the mount that is ever-so-slightly out of shape; it will squeeze into my focal-length doubler, but I don't want to put that sort of pressure on the camera.<br> Any help you can offer would be appreciated!</p> <p>-- John</p>
joe_dempsey
<p>John, I just tried the link and it did not work. As I recall, the company had two offices one somewhere in Arizona and one in Atlanta. I would up sending the lens to the Arizona location. They are not a part of sigma, but contract with sigma to provide repair service. I'll do a bit more research and see if I can find the company for you.<br> Joe</p>
