tony_black1 Posted June 7, 2008 Share Posted June 7, 2008 my lab uses eizo monitors and i have a macbookpro laptop. there is a hugedifference btw the monitors i know, but can i at least come close in colors andbrightness? if yes how will i calibrate my monitor? and i send images by email to several people and how will i know what they seein their own monitor is close to what i see in my monitor? which profile ishould use? ellis_vener_photography Posted June 7, 2008 Share Posted June 7, 2008 The Mac Book Pro display has a much smaller gamut than the EIZO, hell it is smaller gamut than my late 2006 20" iMac! Still you need to start somewhere and that place is with a good colorimeter like the X-Rite i1 Display 2 or possiby the Spyder3 pro and the accompanying software packages.. roger_dunham Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I am working on almost the same issue ....a macbook, a macbook pro and a 30" mac display using the i1 Display 2....the macbook and macbook pro are very close but the 30" is much warmer...
