hinman
I finally make an effort to get my site up. I scramble to get the front page and two galleries going, hope you can play a visit http://hintheman.com I will do better in the photo selection in pruning the better ones as I really scramble to get some pictures that are in my local drive. I have problems fetching photos from flickr, it is not documented well in both Monoslidehow and SimpleViewer. I tried out getting pictures from Flickr but I fall short in getting a large size picture in Gallery2. I used Monoslideshow for my front page and I used SimpleViewer on gallery 1 with local files and SimpleViewer + FlickrViewer on Gallery2 with flickr api talking to flickr service. Comments & Critiques are welcome. Hin
jgredline
Hin, I love your site and you have some terrific info. Infact I sent a link to a buddy of mine who is dealing with the purple fringing in that 70-300 tamron lens... Way to go. <>< javier
maurycy
Nice web site. I like the front page design. I think you could play with the html a bit to incorporate the SimpleViewer within the frame on the front page. I have done that to my web site and it works fine. This way you will have somewhat unified look.
abe_hollander
Hin, you really are THE MAN. disclaimer: If my website ever looks remotely like Hin's everyone will know why. I'm an excellent plagiarizer! Thanks for some inspiration!

markus maurer
Hi Hin I like the content but the navigation is still poor and the site design inconsistent so far. Why does everybody repeat design faults like a "home" on home? I
hinman
Markus and others, thank you for the feedbacks. It is my 2nd day with the new site, the pages are definitely inconsistent as they come from different sources with wordpress blogging theme, simpleviewer and monoslideshow, it will be sometime before i can tie in the pages with a common header banner and others. Thanks again, Hin
zane1664879013
Finally, a site with flash that doesn't annoy! Well done. And your photos range from good to breathtaking.
morgan lee
Hin, First of all, I am not a fan of flower shots. I don't have anything against them per se, it just seems to such well traveled ground and they all start to look the same to me. That being said, I LOVE your flower shots on this site. What you do with composition and depth of field transcends the typical tac-sharp macro focus flower shot and gives it the appeal of a well done painting. Many on there are worthy of hanging on the wall. As for the site, taking in to account that it is a work in progress, you are definitely on the right track. The layout is my favorite type on the photographs. The only thing I would add (if you can) is a slideshow option. The blog is well laid out. I particularly like the "related" section at the bottom for further reading on the same subject. Of course, the information you so diligently provide is great for Pentax users. Nicely done and I look forward to seeing you develope this.
