This should have been your red flag calling for a full stop. "I have NOTHING in writing with the WP at all, nothing describing our relationship or any sort of contract. " If you have no contract, then you shouldn't shoot the wedding! You certainly also shouldn't tack on $1000 to your price! Good grief. If you want to be a nice person, it would be good to give the bride her photos. She doens't need to be a victim here. The WP, of course, should be put out of business.
