danielle_broxson
I know this may be the dumbest question ever posted in here but I really haven't a clue. I shoot raw and then process in lightroom. I do all the white balancing, etc. there. And if I need to do other adjustments I send them to PS6 or Corel Paint Pro Shop. I know, I know, too many steps going on here. I bought a Scott Kelby book (which I love) and now I've realized that I can do all the "other" editing in lightroom too. DUH! So my question is this. How do you get to those panels. I've searched high and low on the LR interface. Am I just overlooking it? I need to lasso tool, the layers palette, etc. Dumb question right? Well, I appreciate all the help anyways. swenson
In CS2 they are under the Window drop down.
ronald_moravec1
http://www.photoshopsupport.com/lightroom/tutorials.html This series should get you going. You will still need to to move to PS to do local adjustments like burn/dodge.
alan_olander1664878205
"I need to lasso tool, the layers palette, etc." Lightroom doesn't have those items. If you need all that, you still need PS.
