lola_gunch
I bought a Sandisk Extreme USB card reader today and was wondering about memory cards. For my computer I have always purchased "Ridata" CD disks and have never had a bad one yet! So, I was wondering if any one has used the Ridata memory cards with the Sandisk reader, opinions are welcome.
jim_momary
Lola - A reader is a reader is a reader. As far as I understand it, the reader mfg. is immaterial. if it doesn't 'bust' then it's gonna go the distance. It's a pretty low tech device. MHO - Jim M. (I have 3 readers, one a sandisk, and if you put a blindfold on me I wouldn't be able to tell which was which.)
jcuknz
I have used Ridata cards without any problems.
craig_gillette
Should work. That said, my external (Belkin) reader doesn't take the cards - the fit but just stay "searching" - from my wife's Canon A640 which work fine in the built-in reader on my desktop. OTOH, the desktop reader is almost unusably slow for CF cards.
