dave_l.
What do people use to view EXIF data with Linux? I haven't seen too many suggestions. I'm using EXIFProbe right now, but it's pretty unwieldy.
waltflanagan
I use ExifTool. It's a Perl script but on Fedora at least it's just one command to install perl-Image-ExifTool. I use Bibble Lite for most editing and it will also display the important EXIF data in a subwindow.
akinliat
If you're using either gThumb or digiKam to handle your images, you should be able to get a tab for EXIF data in the Properties dialog. gThumb also shows the EXIF data if you hit the "Image Data" button, which is right next to the "x" at the upper right of any image that you open.
