SanDisk Memory Cards

No, it is according to Sandisk:

Canon

Digital Cameras SLR

EOS 10D EOS 1D EOS 1D Mark II

EOS 1D Mark II N EOS 1D Mark III EOS 1Ds

EOS 1Ds Mark II EOS 20D EOS 300D/Digital Rebel

EOS 30D EOS 350D/Rebel XT EOS 400D/Rebel Xti

EOS 5D EOS D30

Whether or not the buffer on the XTi would be able to write as fast as the card can accept is another question. I use sandisk Ultra II cards on my 30D and they are plenty fast

I got a cheapy A-data 4GB card as a back-up to my Sandisk cards (willing to gamble). It is noticeably slower on read & write in camera and computer, but works just fine. I blew through 100 pictures without a glitch on vacation.

[[sanDisk 2 GB Extreme III Compact Flash Memory Card was not compatible with the Rebel XTi]]

If that were true, then they would have /removed/ that functionality when going from the XT to the XTi.

The Extreme III cards work fine. I notice a speed difference between the Extreme III and the Ultra II cards in buffer flushing.
