gaetano catelli
what's the current best make and model of bulk ink for the HP B9180? (or, is buil ink an ill-advised choice for this printer?)
constance_cook
I don't think this printer can use bulk ink. Even if it did, I wouldn't do it. This is a wonderful printer. I've only had mine for a month but it is impressive. Conni
robert_martin5
I found this site in another post, but know nothing about it. http://www.printerfillingstation.com/Ink_Refills/HP/108H.htm
mendel_leisk
Like mine a lot, never considered alternate ink sources.
robert_martin5
I have not considered alternate ink either. A B9180 owner on another forum posted the link. Some were considering purchasing the empty ink cartridges and HP ink for the wide format printers that use the same ink as the B9180 and using it to fill the ink cartridges - HP ink is less expensive in the large cartridges used in the wide format printers. jtk
The advantage to an unusual approach to ink is that you get to (have to) buy a replacement printer sooner.
kevin_kublix
I have bought very good ink on ebay recently. I can't tell which is which when I compare prints side by side. If you want to give it a try, search for "HP 38 refill ink" on ebay or on google. They are in printing business and they seem to know what they are doing. Good customer support too.
