silvio_b
For those (frequently) asking about this lens here is a shot taken with it and a PN-11 extension tube. For details, save it and ask for properties. Silvio<div></div>

johnw63
Just how close did the lens get to the subject ? Does the extension tube allow you to be further back ?
dave_weber1
I tried the same macro set up on my camera. Results were only so so. There are much better lenses for macro. I much prefer this same 50mm 1.8 Ai reversed on the front of a Nikon 75 - 150mm zoom. This yields a 1.25 - 3X zoom macro that's sharper and brighter than this same lens on a PN-11 tube. aeaster
Somehow I think this would look a lot better in B&W, maybe with just a touch of toning.
johnw63
David, How exactly do you reverse this 50mm on a 75-150mm ?
