robbie_robertson
I read the previous thread about the P80, and I'm getting REAL curious. This camera looks like a good alternative when traveling light: I wouldn't have to lug the DSL around with three lenses, including the "Bigma." (The P80 zoom is equivalent to 27-486 mm.) I can't find sensor information. Is this the small sensor one would expect of a point and shoot? NAS relapse seems imminent...
joannasfoto
From Nikon's website: Sensor Type: CCD, Sensor Size: 1/2.3" And I had found on www.dpreview.com that 1/2.3" is giving 7.7mm x 6.16mm dimensions. Well- it's definitely sensor that is characteristic for point and shoot cameras.
