Minolta MC/MD lens to Pentax K-mount adapter?

Long Shot question (I think I know the answer).<p>A friend was impressed by my

K10D, and is considering purchasing a tag-end K10 or a K20 as prices drop a bit

- BUT - he has a bag full of Minolta manual lenses. That doesn't affect his

<i>choice</i> of DSLR brand since they will only work with older film cameras

now, but the expense of converting to a digital body AND lenses is holding him

back from going digital at all.<p><b>Is there such a thing as a ring adapter to

mount Minolta manual MC/MD (pre-Maxxum) lenses on a K-Mount body?</b><p>My

friend would even consider a negative-lens converter, and losing a stop or two,

in order to achieve infinity focus.

The only DSLR which the MD/MC lens will work without image degradation of aux focusing lens in the adapter are the 4/3 camera.

 

However the effective equivalent focal length will be doubled so he will still have a need for wide angle lenses.
