dxphoto
I am trying to find a Magnifying Eyepiece for my Canon Rebel XT. Anyrecommendations? I see people are using the Nikon DK-21M but it is 117%increase only. Not sure if it enough. Thx.
tommyinca
"Enough" is depended on your objective. Don't forget that magnification comes with reducion in brighness. It is a trade off in physic unless you do it with those fancy military active light intensifier. If your aim is a bigger view for easy manual focus then 117% is properly as far as you want to go before the view become too dark or the corner turn fuzzy. andre blais
The Olympus magnifying eyepeice works great, ads about 20% or so.
colin carron
I use the Canon Angle finder C. It is more expensive than the others but is very useful for taking pictures where the subject is above you. I do a fair amnount of this taking ceiling detail architectural pictures. It has x1.25 and x2.5 magnification. In my experience for most normal uses finder magnifiers just get in the way and it is only for these specialist applications where they come into their own.
