manut Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 When I started last year, somone (not from PN) recommened a Dynatran monopod with pan and tilt head, and I bought it. Well, its a piece of crap, lock getting stuck, heavy. I was goinf through some threads here, but wanted some advice for my requirements. I have E500, 14-54, 50-200 and plan on buying the 50-500 sigma soon. What do you recommend. Keep it below $100 Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pvp Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 I have a Bogen monopod with a generic small ballhead on top, works fine. IMO, a monopod is nothing more than a stick with a camera mount on one end. Barring mechanical problems such as your lock sticking, they're all pretty much the same.
