AF 360 FGZ

I agree, the selector wheel is even stiffer than the one on the 540 which I already thought was a bit too difficult to spin. I'm hoping it loosens up with use but I'm not all that confident it will as I probably won't use it enough for that to happen anytime soon. I understand the desire to prevent accidental changes but this is going too far, as it already requires the 'S' push before making adjustments.

Also, the backlight isn't nearly as good as the one on the 540--the 540's LCD panel lights up an even, bright green, roughly matching the K10D's top LCD. The AF-360FGZ has a relatively weak dull green, seemingly side-lit as much as back-lit. Also, its display becomes invisible unless you're looking square at it--if you're looking down at it at an angle, you can't see the display.

All that being said, I paid half for my 360 what I paid for my 540.

Ergonomically speaking these flashes aren't terrible though I wish the dial was more like the SLR e-dials in terms of level of control. That and I wish the zoom setting could be controlled by e-dial as well--who likes hitting the zoom button repeatedly to cycle through all the zoom settings?
