jc5066
When I try to plug my D3 into the TV I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? I am not using HDMI, I am using audio to component cable. (the old fashioned way)
rnt
Pages 274 and 275 in the online D3 manual cover this for playback. Page 101 seems to imply that Liveview only works with an HDMI monitor attached.
rnt
Oops, I meant to say "When using Liveview with an external monitor, HDMI seems to be the only protocol listed as working."
jc5066
I figured it out. The output on my cables are crossed for some reason. Thanks for the reply.
frank_skomial
The color coded cable was supoposed to be an industry standard. You were not alone to discover that this may not hold true for some cables, of vendors. HDMI picture quality is much better, but still far below quality of a display on a good computer with high resolution video adapter, and capable monitor.
