mark_winter3
Is this camera still being produced?
PuppyDigs
It's still on Canon's website as a current camera model. Only Canon knows if they have zillions of units warehoused or they make 'em as demand arises. The EOS 3 is officially gone. Sometimes the light’s all shining on me. Other times I can barely see. - Robert Hunter
fotograf
Canon still manufacturers this body, and it is still available new at most camera stores. It's the best SLR I've ever used, next to Nikon's F5 body(which I formerly used).
ed_sawyer
IT's still current, yes. But you can get one foolishly cheap on the secondary market vs. buying it new. New it's about $2k, but if you shop carefully you can easily find it in the $500-700 range. -Ed
george_parris
Price-wise on the used market the range can actually extend more accurately to about $900 for copies in excellent condition (B&H is over $1000). But the camera is so durable that a less "attractive" copy in the $600-$700 range should be fine. But you can find deals sometimes.
david_darby
I picked up a mint 1V-HS for $500 about a month ago. Probably the best film camera ever produced by Canon.
