willscarlett Posted March 7, 2008 Share Posted March 7, 2008 you can try rolling it in the direction opposite that it's curling. books are also a good suggestion. if you're able to develop your own film, don't forget to put some clothespins or a heavier anchor on the bottom of your film... that will definitely help. some films are just really curly tho, no matter what you do. the only way to flatten them out is to put them in negative sleeve sheets and put them in your negative album and close it. Tim_Lookingbill Posted March 8, 2008 Share Posted March 8, 2008 I tried this once and it seemed to work with a bowed strip of negative. I flattened it by applying a tensioning squeeze between my thumb and fingers while holding it in an open freezer atop my refrigerator for about a minute and immediately removed it to normal ambient temperature.
