dan_fromm2
Minh, I'm sure you're having fun. Even so, why not just shoot 4x5? You'll get better cropping possibilities, easier framing, the opportunity to focus for each shot, ...
lauren_macintosh
Mihn: I love see-ing what you can create from some of those older cameras, you talk about wide angle , those are great in my book : Thanks a lot ;Lauren

doug grosjean
Very nice. The photos look like Tucson or Los Angeles..? Ironhorse Motorcycles is a place I recall in Tucson, but there may be more than one place with the same name.
cliffmanley
I would like to see this done with a Speed Graphic or some other camera with a curtain shutter that can be timed with the rotation of the camera and make real panoramic views. Now that would be nice.
patrick j dempsey
Cliff, I've heard that some TLRs can be mounted sideways on the film advance and the camera can be rotated so that the film advances as it rotates. All one needs then is some kind of mask either inside or perhaps even over the lens to make the exposure be a narrow slit. It would probably be possible to do this with an old Kodak box camera too. minhnguyen9113
Doug That Iron horses store is just couple blocks where I live in Canoga park, Los Angeles, California. Cliff I think we can make a MF stereo camera from a 616 Kodak after looking at your site. Gene and Patrik Thanks a lot brothers.

kevin h. y. lui.
That is interesting! How to make a 135 film inside a 120 camera?
minhnguyen9113
Thanks Ralf Tony. Thanks for your support, the next one coming soon Kevin. You have to make a rewinding shaft and mask the opening to 24x108mm, the lens make the camera work like a semi wide angle, you can mount a 65mm wide angle lens on it to make it really wide angle. chuck_foreman1
Minh, Wow Minh what an inspiration. I can imagine the mask and the lens. How do calculate the advance? Is there focus or is this set to infinity? or asssuming the angle is always infinity. I guess you'Re getting experience in how to mount the lens etc? Trade Secrets!! I just love these photos and that one vertical shot .. really shows what this can do!! Being 35mm is also ..say more comfortable as the converted to 120 format! Keep it coming !! minhnguyen9113
Chuck This camera uses both film 120 and 135. When using 135 I have to install a winding shaft and a mask, when using 120 I have to remove the mask and the winding shaft, the format is 54x108mm. Focus by front lens cell from 5ft to infinitive. Advance by counting 1st 3 turns, and the next one is less by 1/8 of a turn. A 24roll can get 7 pictures. Mounting the lens is difficult but I get use to it.
