benbangerter Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 I toured Italy last October and visited all the places there that you mentioned, and spent a week in Lucerne last February. I took my 300D, 17-40, and 28-105. The 17-40 was used for maybe 99% of my shots. Take plenty of memory cards and above all SHOOT RAW! Hand-held interior shots at f4, ISO 400/800, showed good detail when processed in PS2 (Adobe Camera Raw) to adjust exposure and white balance. Here is a shot taken in St. Peter's basilica (EOS 300D, EF 17-40 @37mm, 1/30, f4, ISO 800).<div></div> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
