sonicstep
I just discovered a news item concerning an Australian press photographer who had his D2H brutally re-engineered by former Australian labour opposition leader Mark Latham.
The new D2H could be worthy for inclusion in a contemporary art gallery such as the Tate Modern.
cappoldt
Didn't we see this here before? The gang was dissecting what made it a $12,000 camera...I'm thinking it was the "armour plating."
greg s
"The Nikon camera is armour-plated and designed for use in war zones" I love this... what a hoot.
ellis_vener_photography
No one at Nikon has ever claimed the D2H was armor plated.
rich_chen
"The Nikon camera is armour-plated and designed for use in war zones" Ok, so the Nikon camera is like a King Tiger tank in the Eastern Front in 1944-45 - invinsible and powerful! Give me a break.
vivek iyer
Old news (not really news worthy). Chris has a good memory!
patrick_viebey___orlando__
Since they're 'nearly bullet-proof', I wonder if they're soon to be standard issue to troops in Iraq? DOH!
akira
Well, the EN-EL4 battery appears to have survived the rage. Isn't it the proof of D2H's "armour plate"? ;-)
mark newcombe www.mcnphoto
I love our politicians down here, Not that I would have ever voted for Latham but he kept it interesting for a while. He was from the tough side of town and tried to push that angle I think it lasted a year or two but the party went back to old faithful and installed an old guy at the helm that I think may have lost 3 elections now, but he's getting better lol.
