jnicholson
I was just adding a comment in the Canon EOS forum. I typed my remarks, hit Submit, read my comments on the Confirm page and realized I needed to change a couple of things. I hit my browser's back button. I moved back one page but my comments were no longer in the comment edit box. Luckily I could go forward, copy the content and paste it back in the edit box. Seems like that shouldn't be necessary. Thanks.
steve_dunn2
What browser? I don't have this problem with either Seamonkey on Windows XP or an older version of Mozilla on Unix. But, due to problems on another forum site I've used, I have made it a habit to copy my post before hitting the "Submit" button, just in case.
leopoldstotch
I've had the same problem many times when using IE6 on win98 until I upgraded my computer a month ago. Unfortunately I've hardly posted at all since then, so I don't know if I still have the problem or not. Just know that you're not alone, Jamie. jnicholson
Windows XP, IE7. Sorry, should've included that to begin with. I'm not sure that clearing the cache would be helpful in this case but if it happens again I'll certainly give it a try. For what it's worth, I just tried the same thing with this comment and it worked fine.
mendel_leisk
I have this happen off-and-on.
joshroot
As far as anyone can tell, this is a problem with the browser's cache being full. Which is why it happens sometimes and only to some people. In any case, in the near future the problem will be solved. The "confirm" page will be changing so that it is not necessary to go "back" to make any changes.
